- Introduction to the espresso bar setup including all the equipment and tools needed to run a commercial coffee bar.
- Bar open procedure and protocols
- Espresso grind dialling-in training
- Pulling a perfect espresso - standards and troubleshooting
- Espresso tasting, what defines a 'sweet spot' and making adjustments during a shift
- Menu explanation.
- Cleaning and daily close procedures
This training session will not cover milk steaming, latte art, drink recipes and customer service.
